NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

Dalton Township recently completed work on the Lakewood Additions Sub-Area Plan. Notice is hereby given that the Dalton Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in consideration of the Township’s recently completed draft of the Lakewood Additions Sub-Area Plan on February 24, 2026, at 6:00 pm at the Dalton Township Hall (1616 E Riley Thompson Rd, Muskegon, MI 49445).

The draft Lakewood Additions Sub-Area Plan was created by the Dalton Township Planning Commission under the authority of the Michigan Planning Act, Public Act 33, 2008, as amended, to serve as the primary tool for guiding the physical development of the Township. The draft of the plan is available for review at the Dalton Township Hall, 1616 E. Riley Thompson Rd, from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. Any interested person may attend the public hearings and may offer comments to the planning commission.
