Summer Taxes

Winter Taxes

  • mailed by December 1st and due February 14th.

PROPERTY TAXES!

Township Hall: Credit/Debit (add a 3% fee), Check, Cash Payments- due to the US Mint stopping the making of the pennies, please try and pay in exact change. *in person or after hours drop box.

Website: Credit/Debit 3% fee; check payments accepted through our BSA link. Choose "current tax payments" from the services menu.

Interest & Penalty

Unpaid summer taxes will begin accruing a 1% interest September 15th and every month thereafter until February (see below).

All Unpaid Taxes as of February 15th (both summer and winter), in addition to all interest amounts listed above, will have a 3% penalty applied.

As of March 1st  all unpaid taxes are sent to Muskegon County and are payable only at the County Treasurer's office.

*ONLY the Muskegon Co. Treasurer will accept payments after March 1st for any late taxes!
