Dalton Township Administrative Assistant
A role encompassing a large variety of tasks and responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:
Answering incoming calls, emails, and walk-in visitors.
Preparing correspondence, forms, and reports.
Assisting in maintaining the township website and other notifications.
Working with the elected officials and other office staff including the zoning, tax assessing, and building departments.
The Treasurer may consider the position for appointment as Deputy Treasurer. If so, that will involve collecting tax and general payments, balancing cash receipts, and working with the Treasurer on duties assigned to that office.
Useful experiences and job related capacities include: Microsoft Office, GIS and BS&A software, zoning, ordinances, legal experience, cash handling, handling of complaints, detailed paperwork and record keeping, technical writing, complex problem solving, working with high pressure deadlines.
Pay: 17.25 dollars per hour.
