Notice is hereby given that the Dalton Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 6:00 pm at 1616 E Riley Thompson Rd in consideration of the following items:

  • Application for a Special Land Use permit at 2367 E Riley Thompson Rd Parcel 61-07-023-200-0003-20 for gravel and sand mining.
  • A zoning district amendment application to change the zoning district for 2566 Whitehall Rd (parcel 61-07-031-400-0003-00), from D-1 Industrial to R-2 Medium Density Residential.
  • A zoning district amendment application to change the zoning district for Parcel 61-07-635-000-0001-00, from D-1 Industrial to PUD Planned Unit Development. This includes consideration of the preliminary concept plan.

The application materials and Zoning Ordinance are available for review at the Dalton Township Office, 1616 E. Riley Thompson Rd during the hours of 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. Any interested person may attend the public hearing and may offer comments to the planning commission. Written comments may also sent to the above address or via email to: zoningadministrator@daltontownship.org. Written comments should be received no later than June 24, 2024.
